My birthday isn't until next Tuesday (the 11th), but I already got my gift from Joshua and I wanted to show it off! New dishes! Do you like them? 
My favourite part is the colour. I also really like the simplicity. My old ones had a pretty busy pattern. They had also started to wear out in the middle, so that every time you scraped them with your utensils (which is every time you eat!), it would leave a permanent grey scratch. I've wanted new ones for a long time, so I got to pick these out over the weekend. Guess where we got them? IKEA!! Of course! Thanks, Sweetheart!

How did you make your corn warming bags washable...like the whole thing with the corn in the washing machine?
Plus I was thinking today...how will I ever warm those things up when I do not own a microwave?
This might be trickier then originally thought...
How did they warn these things up in the good old days...probably the wood stove...and I don't have one of those either(wish I did)

These are fantastic - I love the colour!!!!! I've got those nasty dishes that leave grey marks. I can't stand them but, what can I say - they were a gift from the in-laws. Maybe they should start mysteriously breaking ...
