This morning, as I'm looking at a fresh blanket of snow on the ground, I decided it was a good time to post this little bit of Canadian humour! I found this some time ago and have been saving it for just the right time. You have to be a hockey fan to get the last line. For those of you who aren't from around here, the Calgary Flames just got eliminated from the Stanley Cup playoffs. Because Joshua is from Edmonton, we cheer for the Edmonton Oilers and against the Flames! There is a fierce rivalry between the two cities. The Oilers didn't even make it to the playoffs, but that didn't stop us from gloating when the Flames were eliminated!

Okay Peggy, I'm looking at your conversion chart & it's awfully warm for y'all to have snow. 50 degrees? I liked the conversion chart. Are you both from Canada? I will be calling you one of these days & I haven't posted that one yet, 'cuz well, I don't know how to do that w/out publishing the whole comment.
Are you tired of the snow yet? I'd be so jonesing for spring. Oh wait, spring is here. I just spoke w/my Aunt in OHIO tonight & she told me the lilacs are blooming.
Haven't seen that here in N.E., but I'm sure it'll be here soon enough.

OK the last line would've been funnier if I was in Canada... but the rest of it was funny! I can't believe it snowed!!! We are supposed to get a few flurries but nothing to stick. Spring is coming?
To answer Gail's query, it was still cold and snowy on Friday, when I put up this post. On Saturday, it was so warm we were in t-shirts and watching the snow melt!! Sunday was even warmer!
